About us

The Bose lab is a multidisciplinary research group in the School of Biosciences and the Nucleic Acids Institute at the University of Sheffield. We are also members of the Single Molecules at Sheffield group. We started our group in spring 2017.

Our research focuses on the regulation of epigenetic-enzyme machinery and chromatin by non-protein coding RNAs, and how this regulation is disrupted in cancer and disease. We use a powerful, multidisciplinary approach that incorporates cell biology and functional genomics, single molecule biophysics, classical biochemistry and cryo-EM.
